C & D – Rules

Does and Don’ts:

  1. Each round you receive a turn, providing you either have that number on a card called or a previous failed number. A turn is made up of at most 3 throws in which to complete a specific task displayed on the card.
  2. The same number of rounds must be played by each table to showcase their axe-throwing skills.
  3. The target is divided into rings, with thicker black lines separating them. These lines count as points, unless the task specifies otherwise (like a 2-point line that doesn’t count). For example hitting the line between a 2 and a 3 means you score the higher value (3 in this case). The circles around the 4 red bully’s eyes and 4 kill shots have a point value of 5 and 6 respectively.
  4. Tasks will test your throwing skills in different ways. Some might not care about the sequence of your throws, while others might require you to hit specific point ranges or even throw in a particular order.
  5. The order you throw your weapons doesn’t matter (unless the task specifies otherwise),
  6. You complete the task if you meet its specific requirements within your 3 throws.  For example, a task might say your second throw must be higher than your first. If your first throw sticks in the 3 ring, your next throw needs to land in a higher point value than a 3 to complete the task. Any throw equal to or lower than 3 ends your turn.  If you miss a throw entirely, it is considered a throw with no points and you can attempt your next throw if you have any left.
  7. Once you complete a task, mark it off on all your cards for everyone to see. This is your chance to showcase your mastery!
  8. You can reattempt a failed task if the number called for that round is not on any of your cards.  Once you pick a failed task to attempt, you can not switch to another failed task until the next round.
