Who Are We

"No! You can't William Tell your brother with a hatchet ...

Answer: Zero wood if a WoodChuck could chuck a hatchet instead.

While I have plenty more bad puns to share, I don’t want to distract you from the reason you’re here.

I’m Shane Waters, and I spent 32 years of my life growing up in the Poconos of Pennsylvania before moving to New Jersey to work as a Software Engineer in corporate IT for 18 years. As a kid, I enjoyed many activities that have now become popular among adventurous adults, such as throwing hatchets. Along with my identical twin brother, I would take breaks from cutting firewood during Fall weekends to engage in this fun activity. It’s hard to believe that from being reprimanded by my parents for goofing off, I now own the fastest growing adventure entertainment sport in America.

I’m proud to offer my Hatchet & Axe Throwing venue as a four-season adventure in the beautiful Pocono Mountains.

...until all the wood is split and stacked." - Mom

FYI - Google/Waze/Vehicle GPS will sometimes randomly have me located next to the Desaki Restaurant. We are actually 0.7 miles South on PA-611 across the street from Hickory Valley Farm Restaurant where everything is served in a skillet; look for their large Pink Pig Grill. We are across the road.
